Designation:
Network Engineer / Sr. Network Engineer

Job Role:

To provide technical assistance on network security Products

Essentials:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to work in international time zones
Willingness to re-locate to Chennai

Primary Skill-set:

Core Skill set – Good understanding of OSI Model, TCP/IP protocol suite (IP, ARP, ICMP, TCP, UDP, SNMP, FTP, TFTP). – Bridging and switching concepts, LAN technologies such as Ethernet-CSMA/CD. – STP – IEEE 802.1d/ IEEE 802.1w, IEEE 802.1s – VLANS, Tagging – IEEE 802.1q, 802.3ad – IP addressing and sub netting, Routing concepts, VLSM/CIDR. – Working knowledge with routing protocols – RIP V1/V2, OSPF

Network Security:

- Specialization in Networking Security – IPSEC, DES, 3-DES, L2TP, PPTP,
GRE, Firewall management, SSL, NAT – Site to Site and Client to Site VPN – Intrusion detection system, Antivirus and Content Filtering, load balancing – PKI Architecture

Experience: – 1yrs – 3yrs in any TAC (Technical Assistance Center) or NOC (Network Operations Center). – 2+yrs with experience on supporting any hi-end networking security products – worked on hardware firewall Nortel Alteon.

Job Location: Chennai & work on 24/7 environments
