Offshore team for Silicon Valley stealth startup in virtual currency/payments (Ruby on Rails)
at Sandeep in Noida
The product is a full feature virtual economy platform that web developers can use to create their currency systems, monetize it and derive virtual economy analytics. The client is an early stage seed/venture funded company in Silicon Valley that is building its way, to be the market leader in social payment platforms.
The company is started by serial entrepreneurs and we expect that you will be working with the who's who of Silicon Valley entrepreneurs.
The product is based on Ruby-on-Rails on the cloud. The challenge is to be part of the initial developer team that is going to work with the U.S. management/technical architects, and build a really amazing and scalable platform. Please note that you will not be working on existing code, but will be building a whole new system from scratch.
It would be really cool if you have a Github/Bitbucket/Sourceforge profile or have contributed to open source projects in any way. If you write a blog, please send that across as well.
Requirements:
Operating systems - any (Windows, Apple Mac, Linux)
Programming Languages - atleast one of Ruby, Python, Groovy (preferably Ruby, since that is the target stack)
Databases - atleast one of MySQL, Postgresql, Oracle
Web Stacks - atleast one of Ruby on Rails, Django, Grails (preferably Rails, since that is the target stack)
Optionally desirable - experience with PCI compliant frameworks, web-based financial or payment systems
