It is a software company providing design and development services to OEMs and service providers in the telecom, broadband, wireless and satellite segments. Headquartered in the U.S., the company has an R&D and Delivery Center in Gurgaon, India.

Job Title: Embedded Linux - Telecom MNC - Gurgaon

Embedded Linux
Preferred Position - Engineer / Sr. Engineer
Academic Qualification - B.E / B.Tech / MCA
Total Experience - 2 - 4 yrs
Project Overview:
The project is a major system deployment requiring 17 Gateways, hundreds of thousands of VSATs, Satellite control and very high speed internet connections, in addition to a state of the art spacecraft.
This project involves porting of VSAT and IPGW to Linux. New features like dynamic association of the VSAT to the IPGW, load balancing etc. shall follow the porting task.
IPv6 support and performance testing with a requirement to support raw bandwidth > 100 Gbps are other critical tasks in this project
Key work Accountabilities / Responsibilities for the Position Holder:
C Language Development in Linux environment. Responsible for design, CUT and SSI for the assigned feature with minimal guidance.
Mandatory Skills Required:
- C development
- Linux development and debugging experience
- Expertise in IPV4 and networking concepts
Desired Skills Required (Preferred but not mandatory):
Knowledge of IPV6, HTTP, SNMP, IPSEC, device drivers
