Its speed on the commentary has now reached a level where it is at par with the live telecast of the match, but along with commentary, the website has also started developing its own content - with features, write-ups, and up-to-date news from around the cricketing world.
Akuate Internet Services, started in 2004 by a diverse mix of professionals from Infosys (NASDAQ: INFY) manages cricbuzz.com, a cricket website that started as the provider of the fastest (and it really IS the fastest) ball-by-ball commentary for every major cricket match in the world.
Job Profile:
Required Skills:
- Candidate should have 2-4 years of experience in web development and should have exceptional command on PHP, Java, Javascript and the LAMP platform.
- Good communication skills and real experience in co-coordinating with clients will be a big plus.
- As for the educational qualifications, should have engineering or a computer science background.
- He should be a self starter and should be able to work in a high agile development environment will little process support.
- Web development on LAMP Stack
- Using PHP 5.x & MySQL 5.x
- Knowledge of JQuery & Memcache would be added advantage.
