We have an urgent opening for PERL PROGRAMMER with one of our clients in Chennai.
This is a PERMANENT OPENING and it's VERY URGENT.
Job Description:
Expert in back end scripting in Perl and PHP.
Highly responsible to take up activities and finish the activities within the committed time
Must have and maintain a thorough understanding of the most current industry technology, tools and trends in scripting technology. Work efficiently on multiple projects with tight, inflexible deadlines.
Monitor site performance to identify and modify areas that require improvement. Design, analyze and implement change request to ensure that the needs of the company are implemented on schedule.

Desired Candidate Profile:
Superior programming skills in languages such as Perl.
The following programming skills are added advantage.
PHP, JavaScript, XHTML, HTML, XML.
Experience in mysql database (Configuration, Optimization, Safety and backup strategies), experience in Oracle is a plus but not a must.
Experience on a Linux / Unix operating system platform is required. You have several projects already in your team and communication skills demonstrated experience in Apache + PHP configuration is a plus but not a must.
