Device Driver Programming Req_Chennai

Greetings. This is regarding a requirement for our Semiconductor MNC Client Atheros for the software group in Chennai.

JPOSITION: Software Engineer II
QUALIFICATION:
Education:
Bachelor/Master in Computer Science/Engineering/Electronics/Communication Engineering or equivalent
Experience:
1. 2-4 years of work experience in Device driver programming
2. Very good knowledge in C programming.
3. Good working knowledge of Linux kernel
4. Experience with Embedded Linux and/or other RTOS environments is added advantage
5. Experience in Bluetooth is added advantage
6. Active and good attitude in applying ideas to new development features
7. Good aptitude, able to quickly learn new technology
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Work with Google Chrome, Google Android, Ubuntu, and other open source Linux distributions
2. Work on Atheros Bluetooth 2.1 and 3.0 host side drivers for x86/ARM based platforms
3. Work on BlueZ Bluetooth stack and profiles
4. Work with testing team to reproduce and troubleshoot bugs
5. Create and release Bluetooth + WLAN combo software packages
6. Work with Application Engineering team to reproduce and troubleshoot customer reported issues
