We have an immediate opening for Solaris System Administration CMM L5 Client in Hyderabad
Skills : Solaris System Administration
Job Details:
At least five years hands-on system administration experience using Sun Solaris machines, Sun System Administration certification is desirable
Two (2) years of OS strategy and design experience and implementing IT infrastructure components including High Availability, Backup & Recovery
Planning and engineering of Sun Solaris OS, Creation and Managing OS patches, disk mirroring, system and application installation procedures
Performance & Tuning of the OS Planning & execution for Backup/Restore proceduresPlanning & execution for Disaster/Recovery procedures
Planning & execution for Security procedure, Shell scripting (csh/ksh/sh) , PERL scripting, Automated Job creation and scheduling, Setup and execution of standard OS/database utilities,
Evaluation and testing of new versions of Data server and Replication Server, Support infrastructure software enhancements and corrections.Expertise in Installation, Up gradation & Administration of Oracle Database server on Sun Solaris OS Experience and knowledge of the Oracle RDBMS 8i is desirable Expertise in writing, debugging and troubleshooting queries/proceduresProficiency in Unix commands and vi/ed editor specially on Sun Solaris OSGood Knowledge of System and Database Administration tools Good Knowledge of MS 2000/NT OS and related technology.Good communication skills
Proactive and self motivator
Work Location : Hyderabad
Experience : 2-3 years
