Development 3G User plane Protocols (RLC,MAC,FP,PDCP)

Work Exp:: 2-6 yrs

Work Location :: Bangalore

Development Team

- BE/BTech/MTech/MCA in Computer Science/Electronics/Electrical/Information Science/Telecom
2-6 years of experience in 3G/UMTS Technology, Software/Application Development, on the Access Stratum: NodeB/W-BTS, RNC Elements.

• Development experience in 1 or more of the 3G User plane Protocols (RLC, MAC, FP, PDCP)
• Working /Development skills in HSxPA call scenarios , Working. Know how of L3, RRM layers ,NAS messaging
• C programming skills (desirable: for the DSP Target platform) , Run Time optimization skills(for performance and memory), debugging tools know-how etc.,
• Domain know-how: WCDMA/ UMTS Domain, RNC, GSM, Mobile Call Processing,
• SDLC Know-how: Iterative, Agile and Waterfall models

- BE/BTech/MTech/MCA in Computer Science/Electronics/Electrical/Information Science/Telecom – 2-6 years experience in Testing 3G RNC software – In-depth Knowledge of UMTS/HSPA call scenarios – In depth knowhow of User Plane protocols (RLC, MAC, FP, PDCP) – Working knowledge of L3, RRM, NAS – Experience with Nethawk/Wireshark and Emil/IDA analyzers – Good at debugging SUT logs – Good at performance analysis of RNC (SUT) – Linux/Unix OS – Shell Scripting – Experience with TCL/Expect
