One of reputed client HCL is looking for Lead Engineer, Technical Lead, Associate Technical Manager, Technical Manager. The detailed Job description is given below for your persual.

Experience

3 to 12 years of experience in embedded systems development with engineering degree in Electrical / Electronics & Communication engineering or any other circuit branch. HCL internal candidates can be in the grade of E1.2, E2.x and E3.1. Lateral candidates will be positioned in the grade of E1.2, or E2.x or E3.1 depending on the number of years of relevant experience.

DESCRIPTION

This person will be responsible for developing applications on Android. The applications on Android can be from various different domains like Finance, Retail, and Manufacturing and there will be upfront no thrust to understand the domain or get domain level skills. He/She will be part of the team that has responsibility for developing applications, integration, testing, delivery and maintenance of high quality Android apps for the chosen domain.

RESPONSIBILITIES

o Generate requirements from customer interactions to develop applications on Android stack

o Understand the architecture of Android to design and develop applications based on the requirements gathered

o Acquire SME level status for independent working on developing applications on Android

o Adhere to HCL’s OMS for development projects

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

o Software development experience using Core Java (java.lang., java.util., java.io.*), J2ME

o Software development process experience with multiple tool chains (Ex.: Eclipse IDE)

o Experience in multi threaded application development

o Excellent communication and inter personal skills required. There will be many team meetings and platform vendor meetings to discuss issues and the project status. This person must work well with other engineers in a team environment

o Self-motivation, tenacity, and determination are very useful in this position

o Willing to work across different locations (Chennai, Bangalore and Noida) of HCL in India

DESIRED SKILLS

o Experience of Android concepts, Android SDK, Android stack

o Experience in Mobile Domain

o Experience in developing embedded applications on various RTOS (RedHat /Fedora /Ubuntu /Suse /uc / MontaVista/ RT Linux)

o Knowledge/Experience with Embedded Systems
