Position: Software Enginerr/Senior Software Engineer - CM (Configuration Management
No. of requirements: 4
Qualification: 1. BE / BTech / MCA / MSc (CS / IT) with minimum 2 yrs of Industry experience
2. BSc (CS / IT) / BCA / BSc (any) + GNIIT / MCA through regular courses with minimum 3 -5 yrs of Industry experience

Experience- 2-5 Yrs
Job location : Gurgaon

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

-> Provide technical expertise in the consolidation of multiple, product-specific configuration management systems into a single, cross-product SCM process and toolset
-> Perform project management for the consolidation effort, including effort estimation and scheduling, resource allocation, goal setting, and project tracking
-> Manage day-to-day software configuration management activities for multiple product lines, including source code control, version control, change control, branch management, build management, release management, etc.
-> Continue to improve software configuration management tools and processes
-> Perform all personnel management functions for team, project assignments, career development, goal setting and tracking, and performance management
-> Provide IT support for the test/target labs and front end for all the Target lab issues
-> Coordination with the developers and the end customer for any CM and Build Management activity
Candidate Profile:

-> Deep understanding of software development processes and tools, particularly software configuration management (SCM) processes and tools for large, multi-site development
-> Experience with build automation software, such as make, imake, gmake, jam, omake etc.
-> Expert in ClearCase Administration
-> Unix shell / Perl / Perl CGI programming
-> Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-> Independent self-starter and committed to delivering on aggressive deadlines
-> Be flexible to work in odd hours during critical build/release periods whenever necessary
-> Willing to travel to customer location and provide on-site support if needed
