Skills:
Mid level system administration experience (3-4 years AIX, Solaris and or Redhat Linux)
- 3+ years Red Hat Linux 5.x
- 3+ years zLinux
- AIX 6.1 w/TCB (Trusted Computing Base)
- 2+ years AIX LPAR
Preferred experience with AIX LPAR and VIO capabilities
Preferred experience with Redhat Satellite, VMWare, ESX
Preferred experience with high availability software (Veritas Cluster, HACMP)
Experience working with SAN
Customer support experience
Problem determination skills
Strong communication skills
Scripting experience
- Red Hat Satellite
- Acronis
- SAN
- ORACLE RAC y
- AIX Sysback
- Practical experience applying DOD CAT II UNIX Security Technical Implementation Guide controls
- Cross platform experience with IBM/AIX
- Any recent cross platform training on Solaris 8,9,10 with virtualization (zones)
