We have urgent opening with our prestigious client in Chennai.
Required Skills:
Roles and Responsibilities
Linux support,
Proxy server checking,
mail server checking,
First level support for Mail, ( Q-Mail )
Linux ver 5. Production server managing and performance monitoring
Red Hat Linux.(production database - oracle )
Monitoring of the Critical Parameters for the Messaging Servers like.
Mail Queue Length.
Mail Services Status.
Mail Server Disk Management.
Web service uptime.
Chat facility.
New Id Creation for Mails / Web Access.
ID Transfer / Re-certification / Rename / Deletion.
Client Setup.
Enabling Web access of mailbox.
Password Resets.
Mailbox Quota Management.
Administration of Messaging Server.
Routine Maintenance of Messaging Server (including Backup).
Resolving problem at Server Document Level.
Monitoring of unwanted attachment used by email users and send monthly reports to PSD & TVS IT team. Existing tool user by TVS team would be reused.
Oversize mails sent to users on demand.
Mail delivery report submission to users on demand.
Monitoring of IPâs when mailbox is opened from other machines.
LDAP address book management and updates of designation change etc.
Addition of new blackberry user mail idâs thru operator sites (like Airtel etc.).
Skills Required
good communication skill and linux 2.1 & 4.0 skills required.
First level support for Mail, ( Q-Mail )Linux ver 5.
Production server managing and performance monitoring
