This is Ramya from FORTE SOLUTIONS, Chennai.Currently we are looking for Networking L2 & L3 for our client TCS
Experience : 3 yrs - 8 yrs
Networking L2 & L3 :
Experience in managing and trouble shooting Cisco devices (Switches, Routers, Concentrators, Load balancers and Firewalls).
Good knowledge on implementing and managing WAN/LAN/Routing protocols and troubleshooting
Experience in designing, implementing and managing LAN /WAN Switching environments and resolving problems associates with it
Experience in implementing QOS and performing Traffic Engineering.
Conceiving network design based on the business requirements and Project manage it till implementation
Implementation, configuring and managing network tools like Cisco works, Smarts, HP open view, Solar winds Ops manager, IBM Tivoli etc.
Technical Skills :
Cisco router IOS configuration, hardware maintenance and troubleshooting.
Routing protocols such as RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP.
Network facility management: LAN Cabling, Fiber termination and good knowledge on Passive infrastructure
Tunneling Protocols: GRF, PPTP, L2TP, IPSEC Tunneling., IKE, ISAKMP
Multicast Protocols: PIM Dense, PIM Sparse, PIM Dense-Sparse Mode
Synchronous and asynchronous protocols: SDLC, HDLC, LAPB and PPP.Multilink
Quality of service , MQC, Auto QOS, LLQ, CBCOFQ
Additional Skills :
MPLS, VPLS, Vrf lite
SONET
DNS,
DHCP ACL,SSH,FTP,TFTP
Product experience :
o Routers: Cisco 7500, 7200,3800,3900,2800 Series Routers. Cisco L3 6500
o Workgroup Switches: Cisco Catalyst 6500, 4500 Series, 3700 Series, 1900 Series
o Remote Access Servers: Cisco 5300, Cisco 2511, Cisco routers with dial up modules.
o Additional Cisco appliances: Cisco Caching and content engines, Load balancers, VPN Concentrators Load balancers- F5 boxes, Net cache Appliances, WAAS, ACE,Adware, Riverbed
o Fire wall : ASA 5500 Series, PIX 500, Checkpoint
