LAMP Developers in Adyar, Chennai

We are looking for experienced LAMP developers, to work with us on an engaging startup. You will work directly with a US manager who has relocated to Chennai.
There is significant upside opportunity for the talented individual who has a keen understanding of PHP/ Web 2.0.
Core (must have) requirements
• Assist in everything from design & strategy through a-z delivery of software
• Core development in an Agile based environment
• Strong understanding of PHP5, OOP
• Strong understanding of MySQL
• Strong understanding of SVN or CVS
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills (You will be interacting in English with a US manager.)
• Basic HTML/CSS, etc. (Work will mostly be backend class files & some minor integration with HTML delivered by web designers.)
Desired requirements
• Experience working with PEAR & other PHP libraries – MDB2, Smarty, PHPUnit, etc.
• Experience with Ajax/JSON/Y!UI
• Web services (XML, REST)
• Experience w/ debugging PHP applications on Linux servers, Apache, etc.
Others
• Experience with VMware, Cloud Services a plus
• Competent in more HTML/CSS, UI areas but a plus but not necessary
• Experience with mobile, and web applications that work across the stack significant plus
This is a full time position, working from Adyar area in Chennai on IST. Over time there is significant growth opportunity as the company expands.
Salary + benefits negotiable DOE.
