About the Client: Our Client is an US based MNC in Chennai, develops and markets high density 10 Gigabit and 100 Gigabit Ethernet network infrastructure equipment to a variety of corporate, educational, and governmental enterprises. It has offices in North America, Europe, and the Asia Pacific region.
Requirement Details:
Software Engineer: Proto Typing
Description:
The job involves rapidly developing software models to study the behavior / proof of concept before the idea can be taken up for proper implementation.
Requirements:
+ Must have 5+ year of experience C/C++ programming
+ Knowledge of scripting language Perl/Python.
+ Strong experience in Unix based environment at user level knowledge of Ethernet/L2/L3 protocols.
+ Familiar with using open source tools/products and configuring, interfacing and writing applications around them.
+ Experience in Kernel level programming and device drivers in Unix type of environment.
+ Familiar with the hardware and hardware related programming on switch/router environment.
+ Familiar with configuration and debugging on switch/router platforms.
