Reporting Relationship: The position will report directly to Head of
Development for Guzool Platforms & Products

Role:

• LINUX System Administration (SA)
• MySQL Database Administration (DBA)
• Support, Enhance and Manage Application Infrastructure
• Manage Database Back-up
• Liaise with Development teams and Development Head to convey the
  infrastruture requirements to datacentre providers.
• Ensure the viability of the delivered infrastructure before it
  is handed over to the sponsors.
• Manage and Monitor Production, Test, Development and UAT infrastructure.

Skills Required:

• Strong Knowledge of MySQL Administration.
• Prior Experience in MySQL Performance Optimization
• Strong Knowledge of LINUX internals
• Knowledge of CentOS5 internals perferred
• Experience writing shell and perl or other scripting language
• Experience in writing Cron Jobs
