Roles and Responsibilities for Linux Master Trainer
Job Description of Linux Master Trainer
Job Responsibilities:
• Handling Training for Students as well as Corporates
• Understanding client's technical requirements
• Matching requirements with Linux and Open source solutions
• Implementing Linux and Open source solutions
• Providing support on such solutions whenever required
• Constantly upgrading his/her knowledge and skills through self-learning, trainings
arranged by company
• Implementation of security in real time servers
• The person will be involved in handling Certified Training curriculum, solving
challenging Linux & Open Source scenarios
• Monitoring network activity as well as server performance
• Designing and configuring the networking infra in a dynamic environment
• Mentor, coach and manage a small team or a shift
Desired Skills:
• Linux and open source applications problem solving
• Hands on experience in installing and configuring Ubuntu/RHEL 4.0 / RHEL 5.0 using
best practices
• Hands on experience on DNS, Apache, FTP, Samba, NFS
• Knowledge of Tomcat, MySQL
• Experience on Sendmail / Postfix
• Installation and configuration of Squid proxy and Samba Server
• Require both verbal and written skills
• Should be a process driven person with a zeal for professionalism
• Should be able to give Training and presentations
• Should be able write technical documents
Qualities:
• We require Linux enthusiasts with an experience of 2-3 years.
• Passionate & brilliant Linux User.
• The person should have capabilities in designing level one Linux solutions, install and
configure new software on Unix/Linux environments
