Job Description:
„« Design, maintain, and troubleshoot MySQL environment.
„« Be able to tune SQL. Be able to manage MySQL replication.
„« Develops and directs software system testing procedures, programming and documentation.
„« Coordinates installation/up gradation of software systems.
„« Performs database tuning, capacity planning, availability, and performance monitoring activities.
„« Manage database security, including integrity, backup, recovery, access and change.
„« Tests and corrects errors, and refines changes to database.
„« Confers with co-workers to determine impact of database changes on other systems and staff cost for making changes to database.
„« Modifies database programs to increase processing performance, referred to as performance tuning.
„« Analysis, design (write specs), programming, testing and maintenance of the system.
