Job Description
JOB TITLE : Web Dev Manager (PHP, MySQL)
DEPARTMENT : Training and R&D
REPORTING AUTHORITY : Director TC
FUNCTIONAL AUTHORITY : Director HR
PURPOSE
The Web Development Manager will lead of a team of Web Developers and manage development, production and maintenance projects, resources, schedules, assignments, workflows and budgets.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
⢠Provides coordination and resolution for all technical related items and issues associated production process
⢠Drives innovation in development and production methods, process and systems tools
⢠Provides quotes, estimates and timelines for web development, production and maintenance projects
⢠Manages quality assurance processes for all development and production work and ensures all deliverables meet quality expectations.
⢠Should provide technical guidance to the team
⢠Collaborates with production managers, developers, designers and other team members to ensure alignment and a smooth transfer of work between teams
⢠Communicates department deliverables and status updates to senior management.
⢠Interact with clients regularly
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Skills:
⢠Good understanding of object oriented programming and programming principles
⢠Advanced understanding in MYSQL database and developer fundamentals
Knowledge:
⢠AJAX, PHP, ASP, XML, Flash
⢠Knowledge in e-commerce applications.
Education & Experience:
⢠Bachelor Degree with technical major, such as Engineering or computer science
⢠Minimum 3 to 4 years experience of web development experience
Ability:
⢠Ability to come out with programming solutions
⢠Ability to work in a team
⢠Good Communication both oral written.
