Job Description for UNIX Administrator: (Senior Position)
1. Should have minimum 5 years experience on Linux ( Red Hat) and Solaris System administration in a heterogeneous environment.
2. Should have good hands on experience on installation of Linux OS through Kickstart, Package installation and Kernel upgrade etc.
3. Should have good hands on experience on installation and configuration of Printers, Send mail and Dovecot configuration on Linux.
4. Should have good experience on VMWare Server build and creating guest operating systems
5. Should have good troubleshooting experience in a Heterogeneous and Data Centre environment.
6. Should have scripting knowledge on Perl and Shell
7. Should have exposure in working Backup tools such as EMC, 3 PAR Storage and any other NAS devices.
8. Should have good understanding of TCP/IP network
9. Will be an advantage, if candidate has other OS experience like IBM AIX, HP-UX and exposure of system administration in Oracle environment.
10. Must be certified in RHCE
