Position: System Administrator
Total Experience: 2-5 Years
Location: Hyderabad
Work Timings: Day shifts (early morning shift)-9:00 am -6.00 pm

Education Qualification:

A degree in computer science or a related field (BSc. Comp/BCA/MCA/BE/BTech with Information Technology / Computer Science).

Experience:

2-5 years in Hardware Setup, System Installation & Troubleshooting, Maintenance and Upgrade

Must Have

• Good in network concepts and basic understanding of TCP/IP, subnets, routing, switches, DNS, DHCP, Proxy Servers and VPN.
• Familiarity with Desktop/Server hardware from various vendors like HP/IBM/Dell.
• Solid understanding of UNIX/Linux/Windows based operating systems.
• Installation and configuration of servers/clients on Windows 2000/XP/2003/2008 Platforms. A fair understanding of Windows User Management (Local and AD), local and group policy, download and install appropriate drivers for the system, install OS patches, Symantec AV and troubleshooting experience.
• Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of PC and server hardware with good experience to install/configure/troubleshoot Linux servers based on RedHat/Suse flavors.
• Systems Administration/System Engineer certification in UNIX/Linux and Microsoft preferred.
• Excellent communication skills; Writing basic documentation; Good phone skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and capable of explaining simple procedures in writing or verbally.
• Acts as a front-line interface to users, capable of training users in applications and operating system fundamentals
