Here's the job description
Experience: 5-9 years
Job Description :
- Install & configure Linux servers (Redhat and other UNIX flavor)
- Configure Apache Web Servers with virtual server setups / Configure tomcat servers with apache
- Compile / Build various modules / applications as required on Linux
- Provide support to the development team in configuring & deployment of various applications
- Provide necessary support to the testing team in configuring of applications
- Provide support to customer service department
- Manage user accounts / security
- Configure & manage DNS / DHCP servers
- Configure, manage & support proxy servers such as squid
- Configure, manage & support mail server
- Create various scripts for server maintenance & management (using Bash / Perl )
- Monitor, manage and ensure availability of various servers & associated applications in the development / staging environment & production
- Carry out documentation
- Should know bash scripting and/or perl / php / java
- Should have a good knowledge of Networking
- Willing to work in shifts and should be a Team Player.
