Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (TIFR), Mumbai hereby invites applicants for Walk-in-interview for one position of Project Fellow for Gnowledge Lab to work at HBCSE.
PROJECT FELLOW – 1 position
Qualification & Experience: Candidates should have Post graduate qualification (M. Sc., MCA, etc.) or Professional Bachelor degrees (B. Tech., B.E. etc.) with some additional experience skills and/or experience relevant to the job.
Job Description: Gnowledge org lab is looking for a programmer who could contribute to the ongoing software development, material development and training for ICT for school science and mathematics education programs. To get an idea of the lab activities please visit http://lab.gnowledge.org. The candidate is expected to work on web engineering, XML, object oriented programming and occasional programming in LISP. A person with good knowledge of database technology and experience in GNU/Linux operating system will be preferred.
The position is purely temporary, for one year in the first instance and extendable by one or two more years. Rs. 12000/- p.m. to 16000/- p.m. depending on quality of skills and/or experience, with enhancement of the slab by Rs. 1000/- per year up to Rs. 16000/-p.m. House Rent allowance in lieu of government accommodation at the rate of 30% of the honorarium will also be paid.
Age: Below 30 years. (relaxable in deserving cases)
